Keynote presentation: From Start to Finish: Relationships Lift Every Stage of Life
Breakout: Just Sayin’! The Art & Skills in Active Listening
Luis A. Hernandez, Early Childhood Education Specialist, holds an M.A. in Bilingual/Multicultural education from the University of San Francisco. Luis brings solid expertise based on his work history in Head Start, child care, Pre-K programs, college and universities, and professional development design and administration.
Mr. Hernandez work focuses on a wide range of early childhood education and professional development topics. His expertise includes early literacy, dual language learning, adult learning practices, family engagement, and ECE management and leadership topics. As a regular presenter and keynote speaker at national, state, and local conferences, Luis is highly regarded for his motivational and energizing presentations.
We are now seeking workshop proposals for both our virtual and in-person sessions and hope to hear from you! If you are interested, please keep in mind our overall goal of providing participants with strategies to improve their programs, specifically around YoungStar quality indicators, through tangible skill development and changes in practices. In addition to the topics listed on the request form, we seek presentations that enhance curriculum development, support growth and development for providers, and enrich family engagement. We are also interested in presentations that aid Early Learning and Out-of-School Time Professionals in their ongoing development.
Proposals are due July 25, 2025
